Last evening we had the annual "Epiphany Dinner". That is a 3-course meal, dress code: fancy dresses and black-suit bow-tie. So the girls got all dolled up, got ready for 3 hours. The boys on the other hand put their suits and bows on about 10 minutes before the dinner (as I assume).
About a week before this I had to order myself something to wear for this event!
I ended up ordering something from House of Fraser, which arrived within there working days! :)

I bought myself a dress and a clutch, which I thought went well with each other. The dress cost me surprising £27.50, which I thought was great! The clutch was for £25.00, so because the price of the dress was so good I allowed myself to get this COAST clutch.
It's a black skater dress, knee-length, front top is full of black and golden sequins, with cutouts (elastic) on the side and a visible zip at the back. A gorgeous dress that could be worn to such a fancy dinner or even to a party - I love it!
The dress is this one: A black skater dress with cutouts from REVERSE, which I ordered off house of fraser.

This clutch below is from COAST, but I bought it over House of Fraser as well. It is called a sequin fold clutch. Makes sense. As it has black sequins on the front and the top folds over!
It is much larger than I thought it would be though and in the end - although it could have stored all of the girls' phones and lipsticks in there, like a marry poppins bag - I chose to borrow a much smaller, golden clutch from a lovely friend..
But this one will not be forgotten about! I will use it for the next best occasion. :)

Here is a picture of the dress on the night.
Worn by myself. Obviously.
The only problem I had with it is that you cannot wear a usual bra with those cutouts! But thankfully, the stick-on ones have been invented! ;) So that could be solved quite easily. A bandeau bra or top would have done just as well.
To that dress I wore black high heels from H&M, which are lovely.
I have done my eyes in a brown/golden-coloured smokey eye, which looked absolutely amazing! If I may say that about myself…
A bit of blush on the cheeks and we're done. It's only a fancy meal with lights on, not a night out to get drunk; although that appeared to be the same to some people.
I hope you enjoyed this, please do suggest any topics you would like to hear about!
Bisous xx
