(In my last post I explain the diet a bit, if you haven't read it and want to go to the very start of it.)
After waking up I tidied my room and found a small, lonely caramel cube, which I had to give a warm and cozy home. In my belly. Appart from… I didn't warn it that there would be loads of acids in there to destroy it… :/ But anyways…
I have already had breakfast, which was more than enough for me. But then again, I only just started…..
Luckily, grapefruit is the only citrus fruit I love eating!
In the slideshow below you can see what each meal on Day 1 consists of:
If there is anything throughout this diet you do not particularly like to eat or cannot eat (allergies, braces, etc.), have a look on this page, which has a list of substitutions. On that website you will also be able to find out what each component of the diet does to your body - for example ice cream!
I am very much looking forward to dinner.. Isn't it great that you can have peanut butter and ice cream on a diet?! :D
I suppose I should add, that I am someone who likes to sleep in on weekends (until 10 or 11, then it gets too bright) and I am someone who has grown up without eating breakfast (because I am lazy in the mornings and used to be in a rush for school…!). So this morning I ate my breakfast from about noon to 1pm, sitting at my desk, updating my blog.
This pushed my entire meal plan further back in the day.
But to me that is nothing bad, because in the mornings I can go quite a while without eating - but once I start, the gaps get smaller and smaller!
So when I get hungry again (or at 4pm at latest) I will have lunch and then dinner at about 7-8pm. Yes - another thing considered as bad - if it were up to me, my dinners would always be that late.
One thing I have already accomplished: I have drank 5 cups of water already! Whoever knows me will know that that is an accomplishment. I sometimes go an entire week without drinking any water.
I'll keep you posted!
